Axminster weekend with @dorideng 🌻

This makes it look like all we did was eat. Whilst that's not completely inaccurate, we also did swim, watch Michelangelo Antonioni's Blow Up, and swam some more for Dori's birthday weekend.

Here is how I split up my training days while balancing work, social life, and hobbies, with the goal of building back strength on my compound lifts, rehabbing my hips, and growing my shoulders!

Keep leg day simple with these 4 exercises:

1. Hamstring curl 3 × 12-15 (last set to failure)

2. Leg extension 2 x 12 (both sets to failure)

3. Heel elevated squats 3 x 8

4. Deficit lunge 2 x 12 (both sets to failure)

If you work behind a desk, remember you're rounding your back and shoulders all day and shortening your hip flexor, which may lead to long term problem. Or you're picking up/ moving heavy objects, you're probably using a lot of the smaller stabilising muscles, which often get neglected.

Incorporating corrective exercises can be very useful for preventing injury, correcting bad posture, and adding longevity.

Dont just train, train smart!
